All tours will depart and return to the Prague Congress Centre.

How to make a tour reservation
To make a tour reservation, it is necessary to fill in the ON-LINE REGISTRATION FORM.
Reservations will be processed on a “first come, first-served” basis. The capacity for each tour is limited. The Congress secretariat reserves the right to offer another tour in case the selected tour is fully booked.

Grand City Tour
During this detailed sightseeing tour, we will introduce Prague (UNESCO) as a historical and architectural jewel of Central Europe. Our guide, who will be available the whole time, will acquaint you with the history of Prague and its quarters (The Old Town, The New Town, and The Lesser Quarter) from the comfort of an air-conditioned bus. The second part of the tour will take you to the grounds of Prague Castle and the inside of Prague’s most dominant feature – Saint Vitus Cathedral. After an (approx.) 75-minute walk with our guide, you will return by bus to the banks of the Vltava River, where you will board a tour boat. Here you will have the chance to relax or enjoy refreshments while admiring the beauty and panorama of Prague from a different perspective. From the deck, you will also see the world-known Charles Bridge. Refreshed, you will continue your pleasant walk through the Jewish Quarter to the Old Town Square with its astronomical clock and Týn Church.

T11 – Pilsen and Pilsner Urquell Brewery with lunch
Pilsen is the place where the beer was born in 1842 - the "golden lager". Since then the whole world has been trying to imitate it. The attribute "pilsner" or "Pilsener" can be counted in hundreds of beers, but the only original is the world-known Pilsner Urquell. In the world of Pilsner Urquell you will recognize the secrets of this original and learn about this Czech art - brewing a good beer. Have a look around the town.

Karlštejn Castle
This half-day trip takes you to the Karlštejn Castle, built in the 14th century on top of an inaccessible cliff above the Berounka river. You can explore the Crown jewels and relics of the most popular Bohemian king Charles IV. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful and romantic countryside and it is the most visited castle in the Czech Republic.

The Jewish Quarter and The Old Town
This half-day walk tour takes you to the historic heart of the city – the Old Town. That was settled more than 1,000 years ago. The tour begins in the Old Town Square with the magnificent houses, palaces and churches of various architectural styles and the famous Astronomical clock. The trip continues into the Jewish Quarter. The story of the Prague Jewish community can be followed to the mid-tenth century. During this walk you will visit the Old Jewish Cemetery, the foundation of which dates back to the 15th century, the oldest European synagogue - the Old-New Synagogue and several more.

The Prague Castle incl. Interiors
This is a sightseeing tour to the Prague Castle. You will take part in one of the sightseeing tours of the Prague castle including the Old Royal Palace, St. Georges Cathedral, St. Vitus Cathedral and the Golden Lane. You will walk through the Prague castle area and hear lots of interesting things about the history, architecture and the present life here. Including the entrance fee to: Old Royal Palace, St. Georges Cathedral, St. Vitus Cathedral, Golden Lane.

T6 – Lunch Cruise
Enjoy two delightful hours on board of a tour boat. We will take you by bus to the pier where our boat will be waiting for you. During this midday cruise you will be served a tasty lunch while admiring marvelous baroque palaces, churches and all the historical buildings on both banks of the Vltava River.

Cancellation fees
The Congress secretariat must be notified in writing about any cancellation. The appropriate refunds will be made after the Congress.

The following cancellation conditions will apply:
  • Cancellations received by May 11, 2016 - full refund less 5 EUR administrative charge
  • Cancellations received from May 12, 2016 – no refund
